Yesterday, the Ladybug and I went to one of the local parks to play. Since this particular park has a sandbox, the Ladybug had the forethought to bring her bucket and shovels with her, and she happily whiled away her time digging and scooping and building. After a while, I noticed that she’d dug a deep hole, and was busily building a wall of sandcastles around it.
This lead to the following brief conversation.
Me: What are you building?
She: A wall to guard the hole.
Me: Oh. What’s the hole for?
She: Sand to build the wall.
Clearly, the Ladybug has a promising future in government work.
