I just found out that TORCHWOOD is an anagram of DOCTOR WHO.
My initial excitement over this finding was immediately tempered by the fact that I’m probably the only self-identifying Whovian who didn’t already know this.
However, I must admit that I’d be terribly excited to see the next Doctor Who spin-off, which I can only assume will be called HOT ROD COW.
Admittedly, Hot Rod Cow sounds more like a spin-off from Hanna Barbera than the BBC, some kind of bovine-centric update of Speed Buggy. Of course, that being said, it turns out that there are in fact many similarities between Doctor Who and another Hanna Barbera franchise, the curiously rhyming Scooby Doo, in that typical their plots are almost identical, save one slight twist:
Scooby Doo, was one of the cartoons I did grow up watching – HA take that ‘no childhood’!
Am I the only one that didn’t like Scooby Doo as a kid?
I wasn’t a fan of scooby door either, but I like how true this comic is.
I didn’t say it was great… but come on- you have to be impressed by me actually getting a childhood reference for once!
Gotta admit, I didn’t know it was an anagram either.
