I haven’t done one of these in a while… let’s clear out some
stuff from my Firefox bookmarks.
Centrifuge Brain Project
The official website for the Institute for Centrifugal Research, which began in the 1970s as an investigation of the effects of kindergarten rides on the learning curve of four-year-old children, and grew into the construction of the most mind-numbingly fantastic amusement rides ever, such as the Spheroton below. As Institute fellow Dr. Nick Laslowicz states,
Gravity is a mistake. We fight the forces that hold
us down. Our whole life is an effort to escape from
reality.
Unfortunately, the institute and all its rides are completely fake. So to any of my former math/engineering students who read komplexify… get to work on fixing this.
