A helpful hint for those of you out here on the mathematics tenure-track:
When making a flier to advertise a colloquium series on the mathematical typesetting program LATEX, include images of completed documents to illustrate what the program is capable of, such as the following:
To find examples of such documents, however, do not go to Google and do an image search for “LaTeX.”
And whatever you do, definitely do not do this as your boss walks into your office to talk about your yearly job evaluation.
This is fantastic! Also, when will this colloquium take place? I would like to learn some new tricks for LaTeX.
Actually, this colloquium happened a bit before Spring Break. I’m just inexcusably slow about posting things like this.
