LB: Yeah, she used to be my enemy, but lately she’s been much nicer, and so now she’s my friend.
Me: Ah. A “frenemy.”
LB: No, a “frenemy” is someone who started out as a friend but becomes your enemy. Mary Ann started out as my enemy but became my friend. I guess that makes her my “end.”
