I’ve always found it slightly confusing that the undergraduate research sequence at Komplexify University is
MATH 498 >> MATH 402.
Then I met Gavilan College, whose Pre-Algebra to Algebra 1 to Algebra 2 to Precalculus sequence is
MATH 402 >> MATH 430 >> MATH 240 >> MATH 11
and now my head has asploded.
