Why my morning conversations with my daughters may cease

Me: What do you you want to pack for snack today?

Ladybug: Oh, I don’t know.

Me: How about chocolate-covered grasshoppers?

LB: What?

Me: Don’t you remember seeing those in Beijing? Apparently Chinese people love them.

LB: Yeah, well, I’m not that kind of Chinese.

Me: Okay, little chimpanzee, it’s time to get dressed for school.

Butterfly: I’m not a chimpanzee.   I’m a monkey.

Me: You’re a monkey?

BF: Yep.

Me: Then where’s your tail?

BF: I don’t have a tail.   Just my privates and a butt.
