Every year the Family Channel does its 25 Days of Christmas, during which it counts down the days until X-mas plays movies and shows with an X-mas-y theme. However, tonight I see that they’re also showing holiday flicks each night during November as part of their Countdown to the 25 Days of Christmas.
I’m torn about this.
On the one hand, this trend of starting X-mas celebrations the minute Halloween is over means I’m already effing tired of X-mas and it’s not even Thanksgiving yet.
One the other hand, I have to admit being impressed by any network that advertises its programming bloc as a metacountdown.
